Indonesia born and raised, Alex considers himself to be a citizen of the world having spent most of his life away from Indonesia in Singapore and Sydney. Now he is in Indonesia trying to be a change maker and make life better for all.
Joshua Espiritu III
Danielle is an emerging leader with an interest in Disaster and Community Resilience, Sustainable Development, Cultural Anthropology and Memory and Trauma.
Citra currently works at the Australian Consortium for ‘In-Country’ Indonesian Studies, where she coordinates high-quality programs for Australian and other international students to study in Indonesia. Outside of work, Citra volunteers at the Australia-Indonesia Youth Association as the Jakarta Chapter President, and Alumni Officer of the Conference of Australian and Indonesian Youth.
Marina is passionate about creating change through engaging innovative interdisciplinary and cross-cultural approaches to tackle our environmental challenges and social inequality.
Monika is young professional striving to get involved in the youth empowerment activity. She has experience in social enterprise as well as professional background as Risk Consultant in Indonesia.
Jemima is a 2019 New Colombo Scholar based in Malaysia and is studying Psychology at the University of Queensland, Australia. She has an interest in cross-cultural and intergroup relations. Previously, she has interned at All Women’s Action Society in Malaysia and has also worked as a research assistant for studies that have aimed to understand the psychological underpinnings of how people view diversity.
Achmad Sofari Usman
Ari completed his study in English education with a focus on translation, interpreting, intercultural communication, and sociolinguistics. In the last 5 years, he has been involved in both national and international organisations, and volunteering works such as Australian Consortium for ‘In-Country’ Indonesian Studies, Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiatives, Australia-Indonesia Youth Association, Southeast Asia Ministry of Education Organisation, UNESCO, and U.S. Embassy.
Lourence is currently finishing his Master of Arts degree in Political Economy at the University of Asia and the Pacific (Philippines) where he specialises in International Relations and Development. Currently, Lourence is doing policy research at the Philippine Senate and he serves as a Mentor in the Young Leaders Program of MCW Global — a New York-based nonprofit addressing social issues through youth empowerment. Over the past five years, he has worked with hundreds of Southeast Asian youth leaders whilst immersed in countries like Malaysia, Cambodia, Thailand, and Indonesia.
Michelle Marietta Secoa
Michelle is a full-time writer and a half-time worker who interested in communication, literature and social-cultural issues. For the past 2.5 years, she has pursued a career in public relations and corporate social responsibility while keep involving in some Indonesian youth and leadership communities.
An Luu is a TV producer and reporter for Vietnam Television International based in Hanoi, Vietnam. She considers herself to be a story-teller and a movie addict.
Dung is interested in Information Technology, learning, reading and actively improving herself.
