ABOUT

ASEAN-AUSTRALIA YOUNG LEADERS FORUM

The ASEAN-Australia Young Leaders Forum (AAYLF) is a fully-funded four-day intensive workshop which aims to cultivate the next generation of leadership in the ASEAN-Australia relationship. Delegates to the Forum will develop a deeper knowledge of the ASEAN-Australia relationship, foster stronger intercultural leadership skills, build a regional network of like-minded young people and design and implement projects to improve ASEAN-Australia relations. Delegates will leave the Forum as advocates and agents for increased partnership and collaboration between ASEAN and Australia.

The AAYLF will connect 40 outstanding young leaders aged between 18 and 29 who have demonstrated a capacity and commitment to solving the pressing challenges facing our region. Delegates will be a mix of students, artists, young professionals and entrepreneurs from across all 10 ASEAN nations and Australia.
